57. Each Union Parishad shall formulate a budget containing the probable income and expenditure statement for the said financial year based on the priority received from the ward meeting in the prescribed manner at least 60 (sixty) days before the beginning of each financial year.

2) The Union Parishad shall hold a public budget session in the presence of the relevant standing committee and the local public and present the budget and send a copy of the budget passed in the next meeting of the Parishad to the Upazila District Officer.



 (3) If any Union Parishad fails to formulate the said budget before the commencement of the financial year, the concerned Upazila Nirbahi Officer shall prepare and certify a statement of probable income and expenditure and such certified statement shall be deemed to be the approved budget of the Union Parishad.
